The SM Bus controller is the System Management Bus Controller that makes your computer run better if you find the right drivers for your motherboard. The SM Bus Controllers usually come as part of the Chipset Drivers you'll need to find the correct chipset driver of your Motherboard and download them and install drivers for the SM Bus controller.

This might be an issue with the drivers on the computer, you may need to update the SM Controller drivers on the computer, and first you have to uninstall the drivers and reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website, follow the steps:

a.Click Start.

b.Type in Device Manager.

c.Expand the Display adapters in the Device Manager window.

d.Right click on the Display adapter.

f.Click on Driver Tab.

g.Click on Uninstall Drivers.

h.Click OK.

Now restart the computer and download the latest drivers for the SM Controller from the manufacturer’s website and check.
