The Intel Pentium G3220 processor is based on the new 22nm Haswell Microarchitecture for improved CPU performance. State-of-the-art power management innovations help keep power consumption in check. The virtualization technology enables better productivity and manageability. Advanced Intel integrated graphics enables discrete-level graphics performance. Extract more power from your Haswell core-based processor.
- Haswell Microarchitecture on 22nm process The new Microarchitecture (code name Haswell) has full integrated voltage regulator (FIVR) for simplified motherboard design. It delivers improved CPU performance and enhanced overclocking over its previous generation Microarchitecture.
- Intel processor graphics with Dx11.1 & OPenCL 1.2 Haswell core-based processors offer improved integrated graphics. The integrated graphics supports DirectX 11.1 for optimized graphics performance and OpenGL 3.2 & OpenCL 1.2 for enhanced general purpose computing in GPGPU supported applications. It also features digital display repartition, where digital display ports are wired directly to the CPU and analog displays are handled by a Random Access Memory Digital-to-Analog Converter (RAMDAC) located in the Platform Controller Hub (PCH). It supports up to three independent displays: HDMI, DVI, Display Port, VGA (via Lynx Point).
- Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel VT) With Intel VT, one hardware platform functions as multiple 'virtual' platforms. For business, Intel VT offers improved manageability, limiting downtime and maintaining worker productivity by isolating computing activities into separate partitions. In the home, Intel VT allows creating unique user environments for multiple family members using the same platform simultaneously.
- Haswell power management innovation Haswell core-based processors offer advanced power management. It has 20x + improvement from prior generation and is automatic, continuous, fine-grained, transparent to well written SW.

Pros: I purchased this for entry-level gaming, and was surprised that it ran games like CS:GO, Minecraft, Garry's Mod, every Source game, and many more well above 60 fps on max (with a GTX 750ti). It only fell short in CPU-heavy tasks like Fallout 4, as well as other applications besides gaming that require a lot of horsepower. But for a high school student that wants great performance for gaming and simple workloads, it is perfect.
Cons: None. It was designed for lighter games, and those run fine. Games like Fallout 4 were not meant for it, so although it didn't run perfectly, it is not a con.
Pros: low power, fast, cheap, reliable.
Cons: I bought this in 2013 and never once had a problem with it. for my use it never broke 70 degrees on stock cooler. Used in the first PC i ever built, i still have it and works like new.
Pros: -Excellent value, runs cool and stable
- Paired with a GTX 950 I can run ARMA 3 Ultra settings at 35-50fps, Civ 5 Ultra at 65fps, and all of the new Combat Mission games flawlessly, even on huge maps. These are amazing accomplishments for this budget CPU.
- Don't listen to other reviews. 95% of games don't use more than one core yet.
Cons: - None
Other Thoughts: - If you're going to get this, you may as well get a G3258 for another $20 and try to overclock it.
Pros: Great value and works for any day-to-day application such as office work or watching streaming video, or browsing the web. Mid-level gaming it works fine too. I played Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City with this CPU just fine. Fallout 4 killed this CPU though. The game graphics were too much for it. I ordered an i7 4Ghz and a better video card for that.
Cons: None.
Pros: Powerful performance per core for price.
It has not let me down, in fact it has exceeded my expectations.
Passed all benchmarks well.
Cons: None yet
Other Thoughts: great for budget media/gaming build.
Pros: works fine
no problems
really good performance for the money
pretty cheap
Cons: you probably won't be running the witcher 3 at max settings 60fps with this, but for the low price what do you expect?
Other Thoughts: i found myself playing games fairly well that had a minimum requirement of an i5, although i will be upgrading soon this chip as been extremely reliable and quite nice, although at the same time it might be worth it to save just a little bit longer for a better chip
Pros: Inexpensive, gets the job done. Is able to drive a 1080p monitors with the iGPU and play netflix. Works fine running basic applications like Word and Chrome.
Cons: Bear in mind what you're buying here. This is an inexpensive non-hyperthreaded dual-core CPU. Thread-intensive tasks will lock this up or not run at all. Expect better single-core performance than similarly priced AMD offerings, but worse multi-thread performance. This won't be able to seriously run games other than like, League of Legends or other lightweight games.
Other Thoughts: Paired with a cheap discrete GPU this might make an okay gaming PC for light stuff, but again, don't expect much. This CPU punches above its weight, but it's still not meant to play with the big dogs.
Pros: Efficient, low cost
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: I am using this CPU in my home storage server. It works perfectly well in a Supermicro server motherboard and supports ECC memory as well. I am running a ZFS storage array with 4 drives and this CPU has no trouble handling the software RAID while keeping the power usage down.
What to Know About Hp Intel Pentium D Desktop PCs
Shopping for a desktop PC with the performance profile of Intel Pentium requires a bit of information. These HP PCs have Intel's Pentium D microprocessors and can be used as a second PC at home or an additional workstation for a business. You can find the right HP Pentium D and learn more about it here.
What is the Intel Pentium D microprocessor?Intel's Pentium D brand was a series of microprocessors first released in 2005. These processors are a 64-bit, dual-core version of the Pentium 4 Prescott microprocessor. They run at clock speeds between 2.66 GHz and 3.73 GHz. It was this generation of Intel chips that introduced the possibility of running software in parallel 'threads' that were controlled by separate cores on the same CPU. Computers with these processors could function as though they had more than one CPU. Intel also introduced hyperthreading versions of the Intel Pentium D microprocessors in 2005 which allowed a single core to handle two software tasks at a time. Processors with this hyperthreading feature were given the 'Extreme Edition' label.
What are some features to look for in a PC?Ethernet Controller Driver For A Pentium 4 Cpu 300ghz Windows 10
HP PCs come with a variety of hardware and software features to consider when comparing them, including:
- Operating system: Not all operating systems are compatible with the software you may need to use with a computer, and some computers lack the hardware needed to run the OS that will work for your software. Windows 10 is compatible with Pentium D.
- Microprocessor: The central processor is the engine of a computer, so check a CPU's benchmark scores to compare it to other CPUs if performance is a concern.
- Media and video ports: You may need particular A/V ports like HDMI, or you may want USB ports to transfer large amounts of data fast.
- System memory: The more RAM a computer has, the better it will handle multitasking. Also, consider the maximum amount of RAM that can be installed for later upgrades.
- Hard drive: A hard drive provides long-term storage for software and media files installed on a PC as well as backups and system images. Also, a solid state drive is intended to boost a computer's performance significantly.
