1) OCDecorator: Crafted by Ethreon, this mod really is true to its name. In short, OCDecorator allows you to place inventory items that can’t be impacted by changes in the environment. Want to place a cup in the exact right location, but don’t want Dogmeat to knock it over or have someone shoot it? This mod can make it happen.
It works by installing a dedicated menu in settlement building mode. From there, inventory objects can be installed just like anything else you’ve scrapped together. There are separate versions of OCDecorator for those with the DLC. It’s also worth pointing out that this mod could conflict with anything else that changes the workshop menu. Regardless, it does serve an obsessive purpose very well. [Link]
2) Get All Perks: This PS4 mod doesn’t need much explanation either. It unlocks and maxes out every perk in the game, so your character is as powerful as he or she can be. For those who just want to mess around in Bethesda’s open world, this might be one of the best places to start.
In addition to unlocking perks, it also installs a locker with an assault rifle, 9,999 ammo, 9,999 stimpacks and 9,999 caps just outside the Vault 111 elevator. Simply put, this mod can turn your Fallout 4 save into a Grand Theft Auto rampage. Thanks mttprc11! [Link]
3) Cheat Container: This list is all about cheating and settlements. Cheat Container by Vicyorus really brings both of those elements together into one fantastic package. As noted by its description, this handy mod provides a toolbox with 60,000 of every building component outside each of Fallout 4’s 29 settlements. In total, this accounts for more than 1 million materials for building right near the settlements where they’re most needed.

This mod does get a little buggy if you try to funnel too much of the supply drops into a single location, but that can easily be avoided. The toolboxes can also be restocked with a little bit of save file manipulation too. This is just another cool way to craft what you want in the wasteland. [Link]
4) Portable Nuka Jetpack For PS4: Jetpacks are a modding staple for Fallout, so there was no way Sony’s console was going to be left without one for Fallout 4. While this Portable Nuka Jetpack by langnao does require the Nuka World DLC to use, it’s easily the best and most popular pack out there.
How To Install Mods For Fallout 4
The jetpack can be found on the shelves of Super Duper Mart, and it uses the Nuka Girl outfit. There’s no fall damage to worry about, and fire squirts out of your character’s feet. It’s not as clean as what you’ll find on Xbox One and PC, but it’s not a bad substitute if you have the extra content. [Link]
5) Scrap Plants, Leaves, Skeletons & More: Need more scrap materials to make your settlements better? You can use one of the cheat-based mods above, or try something like this. It essentially turns all objects found in nature into stuff that can be harvested to create new structures. As the screenshot shows, rocks can be broken down into concrete and other supplies. The full scavenging list also includes trash, turrets and even beds that can be leveraged for goods.
It may take some finicking with load orders to make this mod work depending on what’s installed, but it’s totally worth it nonetheless. [Link]
